November hasn't been the best reading month for me, unfortunately. I have had a lot of college assignments to do, not much time for reading! *sad face*
Majority of the books I read were short and quick, hopefully, I'll get to read some big epic fantasies soon!
The first book I finish was an audiobook, The Sleeper and the Spindle by Neil Gaiman.
It was a quick fun read, the audiobook is super short, performed by a full cast. The story was ok, nothing spectacular. Overall, I gave it 3/5 stars.
The second book I finished was The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman, this was a reread in anticipation for La Belle Sauvage. I really enjoyed my reread, this book will forever hold a special place in my heart! Despite being a reread and knowing how it ended, the ending still killed me. I will never be over that ending. *cries*
This is the third and final book in the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, I highly recommend these books!
The next book I finished was Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor.
Holy crap. I loved this book so so much. It was SO good. Why did it take me so long to pick this up!? I cannot wait to read the next book!!
If you are like me and are late to the Laini Taylor hype, I highly recommend you pick this up. Laini Taylor's writing is wonderful. The story is so enticing, I finished this in a 24 hour period, I was hooked.
4.5/5 Stars. One of my new favourites!
This book I won in a GoodReads giveaway. It was an ARC so I read it straight away. It was an interesting read, wasn't mindblowing wasn't bad.

This is an essay by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in ebook form, I saw this for 99p in the Kindle store and thought it would be worth a read.
It has a great explanation and definition of feminism.
This may be short (52 pages) but it packed with words of wisdom. I highly recommend everyone pick this one up! It's very quick and easy but very powerful.
4/5 Stars.
And lastly, I read Invaders from beyond - by Julian Benson, Tim Major and Colin Sinclair
This is a collection of short sci-fi stories about alien invasions. I read 2 of the three included in this, therefore, I don't have a final opinion yet, but so far it's mediocre.
I may end up DNFing this one.
